When you book me for any mahi
You agree to
- pay 50% of our agreed fee up front
- pay within 7 days unless you arrange otherwise
When you book me for training
Your 50% up-front payment is what confirms your training date.
- If you cancel: no refund, no further charge
- If you reschedule: no further charge. I’ll just invoice the other 50% after the new date
- If I cancel: we reschedule or you get a full refund

If you ask about my services, I'll add you to my client list.
You'll get emails from me.
You can unsubscribe any time.

After trainings
I email the participants
- a link to my Resources webpage
- a request for a Google review
- an opportunity to sign up to my newsletter of writing tips
I email you ideas to help you embed the training, once a week for 6 weeks.
Don’t want me to send emails to you or the participants?
That’s fine, but you need to tell me before the training happens.

To prepare and customise your training, or for writing jobs
You're welcome to send me writing samples and internal guidance docs like style and brand guides.
I will
- treat them confidentially
- store them on my computer system
- delete them if you ask me to
Who sees the documents
I might show the documents to your employees during trainings. Please tell me if you don't want me to do this.
If a data breach happens
I will
- tell you straight away
- secure your information in my system as quickly as possible
- keep communicating with you until the breach is resolved

If someone on an in-person workshop is visibly unwell, I might ask them to leave the workshop to prevent sickness from spreading.
You need to have health and safety systems in place so I'm safe if I come to your workplace.
